As part of National Engineers' Week, the Saint Louis Science Center is hosting Engineering Career Day. Teens, children and their families can check our formula racing cars, local robotics creations and other exciting hands-on activities and demonstrations from local engineering companies, colleges and organizations.

Little ones can saddle up and hear stories about the wild, wild west!
Storytelling at the Museum engages the youngest visitors and their families in historic objects and introduces them to a museum setting in a really fun way using traditional and contemporary story books. Children will also enjoy hands-on crafts and other activities.
Family Film Day at the Missouri History Museum
Visit the Missouri History Museum with your kids and enjoy a free movie in front of a big screen. You'll also enjoy some light snacks.

Backyard Maple Sugaring at Rockwoods Reservation
So you’ve got maple trees and you love maple syrup… join this program to learn how to develop your very own backyard maple syrup and maple sugar operation. You’ll learn to identify sugar maple trees, details of tree tapping, cooking methods and finishing your sap to syrup. Ferguson 4th of July Festival
The 4th of July Festival kicks off at 10 a.m. with a parade. The Family Fun Zone, which features games, crafts, a balloon artist, petting zoo, and more, is open from noon to 7 p.m. There will also be food vendors and live entertainment. The fireworks show kicks off at dusk.
