Kids ages 6 and up will learn how to identify some common outdoor hazards and safely enjoy the great outdoors. Part of the Super Summer Series at Powder Valley Nature Center in Kirkwood.

Reptiles Rock
What makes an animal a reptile? Find out, and touch live reptiles in this fun program. Families, scout and camp groups are welcome to attend this fun, free auditorium event. For ages 6 and up.

Family Night Hike
Enjoy Shaw Nature Reserve at night with your family. On this guided hike, you'll use your five senses to observe the surroundings and uncover the secrets of the darkness.
Activities will focus on the brain's ability to be fooled by the night and ways to improve night vision.
National Parks Service Fee Free Day at the Gateway Arch
At the Gateway Arch, the $3 entrance fee included in each adult Tram Ride to the Top and adult Documentary Movie ticket is waived, reducing the cost of each ticket.

Free Family Day at Craft Alliance
Join the fun at Free Family Day: Cityscapes at Craft Alliance in the Delmar Loop. Designed
for families with children ages 7 to 14, participants will take part in art activities inspired by the current exhibition: Small Buildings: Built, Unbuilt, Unbuildable.
Animal Safety Class for Kids
Kids ages 4-14 will learn the proper way to greet dogs and cats to avoid bites and scratches. There will even be a dog at the class to allow the kids to practice. Presented by the APA of Missouri.
